Urinary incontinence is a loss of bladder control and involves an important

psychological and social impact, that can seriously affect on  patient's

lifestyle. The causes are multiple, including detrusor instability (spastic

bladder), incontinence because of overflow, postpartum situation, strain causes,

low muscular form in elderly patients or simply a false incontinence (functional).

We can also find it as secondary to anatomic abnormalities, physical effort, emergency-related nervous system diseases or infections, or the drip that accompanies an over-distended flaccid bladder. In our hands, the patient will strengthen the pelvic floor to improve their function or to enhance the surgical procedures, in order to not relapse.

At FisioClinic we use extracorporeal shock wave therapy in order to heal

injuries on chronic conditions such as tendinopathy, etc.

With the shock waves we achieve the desired hypervascularity of the treated area

and a collagen increase which dramatically reduces recovery time in the body. Thanks to

the latest technology we use, we can apply the treatment only to the affected area,

allowing healing to be even more effective. Since we talk about chronic injuries, due to our professional diagnosis and treatment, patient satisfaction degree is measured as High / Very High.

Doppler ecography (also known as Eco-Doppler), is a variety of ultrasound

that, using the Doppler effect, allows the assessment waves flow rate of some

body structures that are inaccessible to direct visualization. The technique

allows to locate if the flow goes against the direction of the probe or not, and

the relative speed of this flow. In our facilities we make use of this advanced

equipment in the diagnostic phase and subsequent revisions, to evaluate the progress of the disease. Thanks to its safe properties and fast feedback, it is very useful in the treatment of any disease, especially in tendon, muscle belly, nerves, vessels, ligaments, etc..

It is a simple and safe way to quantify the components of body composition,

based on the ability of the organism to conduct an electrical current. With this

simple test that takes just minutes, we get great information on how your body

is at that time, estimating body composition, monitoring the wear or tear, quantifying

the body compartments data and observing trends. At FisioClinic we use it as a

prelude to the implementation of any of our physioesthetical techniques, in order to find

a concise application settings appropriate to each type of person, as well as regular checks.

We use pressure therapy since it has been proved that its pneumatic

massage is very useful to control the circulation activation (venous and

lymphatic) by stimulating the absorption of liquids, helping to prevent the

onset of circulatory disorders and to treat edema and circulatory

peripheral disorders. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of

varicose veins, lymphedema and venous edema, edema, post-traumatic and

post-surgical, cellulite and obesity, postpartum care, relaxation, fluid retention,

maintenance of normal return circulation, to improve skin elasticity and general detoxification of the body. In addition to its advantages in terms of health care, their applications in the aesthetic plane makes that this technique is in high demand today.

From our extensive experience in physiotherapy and physioesthetic treatments,

we offer also sessions of radiofrequency application which achieve localized and

circumference fat reduction, achieving the regeneration of collagen and skin

tightening, removing wrinkles and reducing the signs of aging. Techniques and

latest equipment we have allow us to apply this procedure with full warranty,

including the most delicate areas (i.e. facial area). Results are shown immediately

from our first session of application, being a non-invasive, painless and safe method.

At our clinic, we use ultrasound, depending on the phase in which the disease

is treated, for the treatment of radicular pathology, soft tissue injury, edemas

reabsorption, bruising, algodystrophy and stiffness, ligament injuries, post

traumatic synovitis, aponeurosis palm retraction (Dupuytren), tendinitis,

periarthritis, capsulitis, ankylosing spondylitis, sciatica, lumbago, etc.., where

we have proven very beneficial effects.

With the last generation machine we have, we can create from a analgesic

current -that helps to improve the life quality and daily living activities (DLAs)-

up to currents that muscle restoration in process of itself atrophy, providing

stability to the joint, which undoubtedly helps to prevent future injuries that may

occur to the patient in the same area.

Magnet therapy allows us to act effectively to treat a wide variety

of pathologies. It is a painless therapy with a simply application,

enjoying a high penetration power shown, and whose obtained

effects always last beyond of the end of the treatment, which

basically can be summarized into three types: anti-inflammatory effect,

and tissue regenerative effect analgesic effect.

The infrared laser (IR) is the best choice when treating acute pain diseases

on relatively recent muscle injuries, chronic pain that has spread

continuously over time, inflammation produced by shock and sports

injuries, and when there is a need for tissue regeneration by the presence

of wounds or sores. With our techniques, we achieve an analgesic action in the treated

area, and implementing an anti-inflammatory effect, which provides a regenerative

trophic effect with a difficult evolution lesions.

All these ailments can be treated using techniques that temperature plays

a crucial role. With the infrared, for example, we apply an analgesic action

at dermis level, influencing the improvement of circulation due to its

vasodilator effect. We also use other techniques available in this field,

as microwave to treat diseases such as cervical pain, back pain, by its deeper

action, also getting an antispasmodic effect, and a disappearance of fatigue.

Besides all the above, we can complement treatments with taping, kinesiotaping, cinesitherapy active autopasives exercises, postural reeducation, muscle strengthening, etc.
